Rasa News Agency Reports – In an exclusive interview with our international correspondent, Dr. Mahmoud Jabir, an Egyptian university professor and thinker considered the mentality of Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Imam Khamenei in dealing with the arrogant powers as the best sample in the Muslim world and said: “The Islamic Revolution in Iran could be able to compensate the betrayal of some of the Arab countries in the Muslim world.”
“After the victory of the Islamic Revolution a new axis formed in confronting the Zionist regime and the US and started supporting the oppressed nations in the world.” He added.
Mahmoud Jabir then analyzed the most important feature of Ayatollah Khamenei saying: “The resistance of [Iran’s] Islamic revolutionary leader regarding the US in different fields is so important and causec the Islamic honor. Unlike other Muslim countries, Iran by the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, won’t allow US and the west to ravage the national wealth of the country.”
He said that the stance of the Supreme Leader regarding Iran’s nuclear rights is honorable and added: “Without a doubt, the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution’s stance regarding the legal demands of the Iranian nation will bring development and independence for the country.”
He also declared: “The only way for a nation to listen to the guidance of a leadership is that the leader himself should live like ordinary people. Having a simple life by the late Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei and also being equal with other people in term of dealing with the constitution has made them more and more popular and accepted.”
He also indicated that the people’s subordination from the supreme leader is because his words and actions are the same and said: “Ayatollah Khamenei’s fatwa in respecting the figures and sanctities of Sunni Muslims has increased amity and unity between Sunni and Shia.”
“Iran’s presence in Non-Aligned Movement and serving as the chairman of the movement can help the oppressed nations a lot because the desire of the Islamic Revolution in Iran is to support the oppressed nation all around the world.” He stated.
At the end of the interview, the Egyptian thinker criticized some Arab countries retreatment in dealing with the US and said: “A lot of experiences in the Arab and Muslim countries have proved that appeasement and cooperation with the US and the western countries have ended up with the weakness and mustiness of the countries and audacity of the Zionist regime and we must take heed.”
