Rasa News Agency Reports – In an interview with Rasa News international correspondent, a Sunni scholar and the head of the “Unity and Reform” movement in Lebanon, Sheikh Maher Abdol-Razaq considered the appearance of Imam Khomeini in the Islamic society as a turning point in the lifetime of the Islamic Ummah and said: “Imam Khomeini could revive the holy religion of Islam with his sayings and actions.”
“Islamic revolution in Iran with the leadership of Imam Khomeini is a revolution for all of the Islamic and Arab countries and also a suitable criterion for the further actions and movements all around the world. The revolution could open a new door for the Muslims and oppressed in the world.” Said the Sunni scholar.
Mentioning the anti-arrogance actions of the Islamic revolution in Iran, he said: “All of the troubles in the Muslim world come from the US-Zionistic project in the region and intervention of the domineered countries in the internal affairs of the Islamic nations and creating division in them.”
“The Islamic nation being divided and the feel of weakness has been caused by the efforts of the arrogant countries and the more the Islamic nations keep their unity the more they will gain sense of honor and dignity they need” declared Sheikh Abdol-Razaq.
He also added that we can confront the US-Zionist project and neutralize it by [paying attention to] the guidance of his holiness Ayatollah Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic in Iran.
“Imam Khomeini owns all the features needed for the leadership of a society and in an era in which an Islamic nation is in need of an authoritative leadership, this grandeur characteristic can play a highly effective role in providing goals of Muslims in the world.” Said the head of Lebanese “Unity and Reform” movement.
He also emphasized that Imam Khamenei is a leader that owns the features of Imam Khomeini in defending the Islamic sanctities, Islamic resistance and Islamic unity.
Following his interview, the Lebanese scholar said that Ayatollah Khamenei could create a strong defending shield for Muslims against US and Zionist regime.
“Imam Khomeini drew a red line on domination of arrogant powers of the world by the Islamic revolution of Iran” he added.
He pointed out that the keys for the success of Imam Khomeini and current supreme leader is sincerity in action and being accompanied by the oppressed people.
Sheikh Maher Abdol-Razaq also clarified: “We always hope that the Arab countries follow Iran’s path in confronting US and Zionist Regime and launch the anti-Zionist campaigns. But this never happened in a complete and proper way.”
And at the end he considered the overwhelming comments of Ayatollah Khamenei in supporting the Palestinian nation and enmity with the Zionist regime as one of the outstanding indicators of his speeches.
