RNA – Speaking at Bushehr’s Quran Mosque, Hujjat al-Islam Heydar Moslehi, Iran’s Minister of Intelligence referred to the enemies’ “serious” threats against Iran, saying that despite the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), American President Barack Obama has said that the military option against Iran is still on the table, but they have been saying this for the past 36 years and what have they done?! “During the [Iran-Iraq War], they fought against us with all their ability and might, but what have they done?!” he said.
Hujjat al-Islam Moslehi also stressed that the tragic stampede in Mina that occurred in September during the Hajj pilgrimage was the result of the imprudence, cowardice, treachery and crimes of the Saud Dynasty which has allied with the US against Iran’s Islamic Revolution. “Frankly speaking, the Saudi Arabia has a problem with the Islamic Revolution,” he said.
The Minister of Intelligence added: “the arrogant powers use the Saudi regime and have created ISIL, Wahhabism and Takfiri groups to confront the Islamic Revolution.”
He said some people today think that Saudi Arabia is a country that Iran can negotiate and talk with but they fail to understand that Saudi Arabia is the sworn enemy of the Islamic Revolution and that he personally experienced their strong animosity during negotiations with the Saudi Crown Prince over Syria, who admitted that Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf monarchies financially supported and cooperated with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in his war against Iran and that Saudi Arabia alone gave Saddam more than $20 billion.
Hujjat al-Islam Moslehi said the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, gave his support for Iran’s negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries but called on the negotiating team to be vigilant and stand on their own feet and not rely on the enemy to come and solve the problems that Iran faces.
His Eminence added that the Saudi’s realize the power of the Islamic Revolution and know that if they defy this power, nothing of their regime will remain and the Islamic Revolution will endure and progress.
He stressed that there is no doubt that the arrogant powers are planning to create sedition during Iran’s February 2016 parliamentary elections just as they did after the 2009 presidential elections. “The enemies seek to influence Iran’s economy, society, politics, culture and security,” he said.
