Rasa News Agency Reports – In Tehran’s Friday Prayers, The city’s Friday Preacher mentioned the stance of some of the candidates regarding the relations with the US and said: “[If] some think that with establishing relations with the US all of the problems would be solved you should laugh at him, because it’s more like a joke. What on earth did the Americans do to the countries that were surrendered to them that they would do to us”.
Mentioning Egypt, the Ayatollah said: “Egypt was surrendered to the US for many years, but know you can see that so many people are starving in the country and thousands are lying in graveyards [for fighting Mobarak regime]”.
In other part of his speech Ayatollah mentioned the 2009 post-election riots and said that the US were planning for these riots for 10 years in order to overthrow the Iranian government in the name of so-called [election] fraud. He then stressed that the 2013 election candidates must explicit their stance regarding the 2009 intrigue; if they accept the intrigue they are part of these provocators but if they don’t, they must officially condemn the intrigue”.
The Iranian 2013 presidential election will be held on 14th of June and the candidates from both Principlist and reformist parties have participated into the election. It remains to be seen who will be the 8th president of the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
