RNA - In a letter to Pope Tawadros (Theodoros) II, the Pope of Alexandria and leader of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, the general secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, severely condemned the recent killing of Egyptian Coptic Christians by ISIL Takfiri terrorist group.
“This terrorist group every day fans the flame of hatred and conflicts in Islamic and Arabic countries,” Ayatollah Araki underlined, stressing that the group perpetrated such wilful measures in the favours of western leaders, Zionists and their allies in the region.
The renowned cleric went on to add, “The World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought condemns severely this inhumane crime and offers condolences to you and the innocent martyrs’ families."
Ayatollah Araki also announced the readiness of the organization for backing and supporting Egypt people against this terrorist group.
The general secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought calls on prominent faces and leaders of Egypt so as to get united against this merciless group in a bid to uproot it.
Recently ISIL Takfiri terrorists have released a new video allegedly showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians kidnapped in Libya following an earlier announcement of the terror act in an issue of their magazine, Dabiq.
The workers, whose photos were published in the latest online edition of Dabiq, were reportedly abducted in the Libyan coastal city of Sirte in two attacks in December last year and January.
