Rasa interviewed Lebanese Muslim Scholar:
Rasa – President of Lebanese national unity gathering said the supreme leader fatwa on prohibiting nuclear weapons should be enough to prove the peaceful nature of the nuclear activities in Iran
Rasa News Agency Reports - Sheikh Mustafa Muls who is a Sunni scholar and the president of Lebanese national unity gathering in an interview with rasa news agency talked about the dialogue which is occurring between Iran and the 5+1 over Iranian nuclear issues in Kazakhstan and said: “The Islamic republic of Iran in the Kazakhstan dialogue stand strong in receiving its full rights in regards to their peaceful nuclear activities’ and must not compromise in this area.”
He said: “Iran has a right to use peaceful nuclear energy and this country should not compromise due to pressures and sanctions which have been placed on them by the west; for the west logic is only force.”
This Islamic Scholar used the fatwa of the supreme leader as a reason why the nuclear energy in Iran is peaceful and expressed: “A fatwa from an Islamic jurist is not on useless issues but it is a verdict which everyone would give its life for.”
Sheikh Mustafa emphasized: “I am certain that the Iranian authorities pay great respect to the fatwa of Imam Khamenei and under no circumstance are after to make even a percentage of nuclear weapons.”
The president of Lebanese national unity gathering in talking about the double standards of America and the west in regards to the nuclear issue mentioned: “Iran in many times announced its nuclear activities are peaceful and there are many countries in the world like Iran who are active in gaining nuclear energy.”
Sheikh Mustafa in saying that there is hundreds of nuclear warhead existing in occupied Palestine said: “The Zionist regime with having hundreds of nuclear warheads is the main threat in the Middle East and not an Islamic country like Iran who is always loyal to its ethical relations with the global community.”
This Lebanese scholar expressed: “Without doubt the Islamic republic is the biggest obstacle in the path of the American and western goals and it is for this reason this nation has been sanctioned and pressured. We support the invitation of the Islamic republic and the supreme leader in making the world a nuclear free place.”
He said the resistance of the Iranian nation towards the arrogant powers give hope to other nations and stated: “If Iran is capable to protect is international and religious legal right to have nuclear energy other countries in this middle east will have the bravery to use this complete right to gain nuclear energy without paying attention to the possible American and western sanctions.”
