Rasa News Agency reports – The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei) has issued a letter of condolences on hearing of the sad passing of Ayatollah Sayyed Saber Jabbari. Ayatollah Jabbari was the representative of the people of Mazandaran province in the Assembly of Experts and the Friday prayer leader for Behshahr.
Ayatollah Hajj Sayyed Saber Jabbari was born on August 31, 1938 in Behshahr, Mazandaran province, a city on the coast of the Caspian Sea. He started his basic Islamic studies by studying under his father and local scholars before continuing his education in the seminaries of Mashhad and Qom. In addition to teaching in the Seminary of Qom, he also fought against the evil Pahlavi monarchy. After the success of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini appointed him as the Friday prayer leader for Behshahr. He also fought bravely on the battlefield against the evil regime of Saddam at-Tikriti during the Imposed War. He had served the people as a representative of the Assembly of Experts since 1996.
The Supreme Leader’s message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful,
I offer my deepest condolences the believing and revolutionary people of the province of Mazandaran, especially the dear people of Behshahr and the knowledgeable people of Mazandaran, and most especially to the dear family on the passing of the scholar, Ayatollah Hajj Sayyed Saber Jabbari, may God bless him, the Friday prayer leader of Behshahr and a member of the Assembly of Experts.
The services of this great spiritual scholar in the trenches of [religious] propagation and his resilience on the path of resistance in the service of the Islamic Revolution and his service to the people, who remember him as a source of abundant knowledge.
I pray to God Almighty that He bestow his blessings and forgiveness and the intercession of the infallible Ahlul-Bayt (A) for his efforts in this world.
