Rasa News Agency reports – Ayatollah Mohsen Mojtahed-Shabestari, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province, met with a group of Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps and soldiers in Tabriz. He condemned the recent crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, saying: “More than any other previous time, this false regime is hated by most of the people of the world.”
He explained that the unprecedented genocide and atrocities of the Zionist regime in Gaza prove the hideous nature of these great criminals of history, noting: “Evidence suggests that America and the Zionist regime occupying al-Quds (Jerusalem) have been frustrated on their path. Certainly, the utmost participation of people in the International al-Quds Day demonstrations will accelerate the destruction of international Zionism.”
The Friday prayer leader of Tabriz, referred to the Holy Quran and explained that in the Quran, God promises divine assistance for the victory of the oppressed, saying: “God promises that truth will prevail over falsehood and the [truthful] words of the religious authorities will be realized in the world, you should know that God’s promise of victory is the truth.”
“Based on Quranic verses, those on the path of truth will be victorious and the unbelievers will be defeated. The Quran promises the ultimate triumph of God and His representatives on earth, and the Islamic Revolution in Iran has demonstrated this great promise of God,” Ayatollah Mojtahed-Shabestari added.
“In 1963, the mere thought of the victory of the Islamic Revolution was unbelievable, but the promise of God is firm and unviolatable. But the world was surprised when our revolution was victorious in 1978 and the system of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) was installed. Today, this system is a thorn in the eyes of the enemies and the main sponsor of the oppressed Palestinians,” His Eminence stated.
Ayatollah Mojtahed-Shabestari also explained that Islamic countries must decrease their trade and economic relations with the Zionist regime and all Muslims must boycott Israeli goods and the participation of the masses on al-Quds Day as important steps to isolate the Zionist regime and stop the shameful attacks on Gaza. “Participation in these demonstrations, which are held on the last Friday of Ramadhan, is a religious duty upon everyone,” His Eminence emphasized.
“The presence of millions of people in the al-Quds Day demonstrations will have a very significant impact on reducing the crimes of this regime. The people of the world must spread the message of International al-Quds Day to the so-called human rights institutions and announce that the Zionist regime is hated by all those who seek freedom,” Ayatollah Mojtahed-Shabestari concluded.
