Rasa News Agency – Ayatollah Mortaza Moqtadaei, the representative for Esfahan in the Assembly of Experts, has spoke with Rasa News Agency in the city of Kashan.
His Eminence explained the position and influence of the Shi’ite authorities in Iraq, saying: “The influence of Shi’ite authorities in Iraq, especially in regard to recent events, indicates the adherence of the people of Iraq to the authority of sources of emulation authority. These scholars hold a position of great authority among the people.”
His Eminence expressed hope in the presence of the Shi’ite authorities in the current events and the adherence of the Iraq people to their religious leadership. The power of the people and their adherence to the religious authorities in support of the armed forces and militias can bring the anti-Islamic terrorists to perdition in the near future and once again restore peace and stability to Iraq.
By understanding the future of Iraq, Ayatollah Moqtadaei said: “That the unity of the Iraqi people revolves around the religious authorities, explains the triumph of the Muslim forces against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists in Iraq.”
His Eminence explained that key to the success of the Islamic Republic of Iran is due to the victory of the system of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent). The Iranian people enjoy many divine blessings as a result of their adherence to Wilayat al-Faqih. It is one of the components of the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the world. As long as the nation of Iran continues on the path of Wilayah (guardianship), the enemies cannot undermine the security and stability of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ayatollah Moqtadaei explained that the Islamic Republic of Iran is not under any danger from ISIL. The superpower United States is the main puppet master behind ISIL’s criminal actions and terrorism. If they want to confront the Islamic Republic of Iran, they just need to keep in mind that they have not been able to lay a finger on us in the last 35 years.
“The United States is the major supporter of ISIL; They do not dare to attack Iran because they are America’s protégé. Where can they find the courage to violate their masters?!,” His Eminence asked.
Ayatollah Moqtadaei reminded us that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the country of Imam al-Mahdi: “Islamic Iran stood firmly against the entire world during the eight-year Imposed War. Just as how during the war, Iran stood with honour and pride, today it also stands firmly against the all the anti-Islamic superpowers.”
