Rasa News Agency reports - Today, Ayatollah Hosein Nouri-Hamadani met with Mohammad-Reza Naqdi, the chief commander of the The Organization for Mobilization of the Oppressed (Basij) forces, and reminded them that they are a powerful arm which works for good purposes in support the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani explained that the countries of the “global arrogance” are afraid of the power of Basij forces, saying: “We are blessed that today the Basij forces are active and effective in all political and social fields.”
His Eminence also explained that the government must encourage correct hijab, as it is an issue of “enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong,” an Islamic doctrine mentioned in the Holy Quran. “To explain the issue of enjoining and forbidding the wrong we must use all the tools and capabilities of the national media and other media to encourage proper Islamic etiquette,” he stated.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that to further the goals of the glorious Islamic Revolution: “We must unite and distance ourselves from anything that causes division.”
The enemies make use of disunity and divisions between the various Islamic schools of thought to further weaken them.
In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani explained that the capitalist system has a lot of challenges and problems and we need to apply Islamic laws in regards to the banking system. “As a result of the rule of the capitalist system, the wealthy become wealthier and the poor become poorer by the day,” he explained.
His Eminence said that he has spoken to President Hasan Rohani about the economic situation of the country. Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani gave importance to the production of goods and monitoring the prices of goods produced as keys to improving the economic situation. He said that sometimes, there are various prices of the same goods in different stores. In his opinion, the government should monitor the market and set prices so that they are equal in the various markets of the country.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that the authorities should be careful of the West, saying that because of the excesses of Western countries are very serious. They have the audacity to bring up Iran’s missile program in the nuclear negotiations. “We must act to counter their vengeance and not be passive in the face of such malice. We must unite and stand against them,” he concluded.
