Ayatollah Shobeyri-Zanjani, speaking to a group of Pakistani Shi’a, commended their patience and forbearance in the face of the problems they face created by groups associated with the Taliban.
“The torment that you tolerate and the steadfastness and patience you show for the protection of your beliefs has an abundant reward in the presence of Allah.”
The highly respected Ayatollah highlighted Takfiris as a common enemy of all the Muslims. He stated: “We are hopeful to witness the end of cruelty in this world. Someone who is a follower of the sacred Prophet (S) is not one who is cruel and cruelty has no room in a merciful religion.”
Ayatollah Shobeyri-Zanjani concluded with a call for supplication, highlighting it as a responsibility for all of us. He said: “We have a duty to supplicate for all the Shi’a and especially the Shia of Pakistan and we are hopeful that by the blessing of the Ahlul-Bayt (s), we will be witness to the end of the difficulties created for them in their country.”
