Rasa News Agency reports - Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative in the province of Kordestan, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Sayyed Mohammad Hoseini-Shahroudi, has said: “economy and culture are two important issue in the life of mankind.” This was in reference to Ayatollah Khamenei designating the Iranian year 1393, which began on March 21, as the “Year of Economy and Culture with National Determination and Jihadi Management” in his Norouz speech on March 21.
Hujjat al-Islam Hoseini-Shahroudi explained that a healthy economy is a cause of happiness and bliss for humanity and that God rewards and blesses those give their wealth in order to help others. He also quoted a narration from Imam Ali (A) which states that “the world is a place of commerce for the divine saints.”
He also said that the humanity is based on culture and that Islam gives much importance to culture and that culture is in the form of the divine values and beliefs that exist in humanity.
He explained that the enemies of Islam are fighting a soft war against culture and economy with all their might but that Islamic culture is consistent with human nature and everyone is attracted towards it. The enemies are attempting to reach their goals by creating sedition in Islamic countries by the propagation their filthy culture and anti-Islamic values.
Another method of their soft war is their support of false forms of Islam, such as Takfirism. The Takfiris are murdering both Sunnis and Shi’ite Muslims without differentiation, but they have not even killed one Israeli! This is proof of who their masters are. This method of sowing sectarianism and sedition has worked well for the enemies.
Hujjat al-Islam Hoseini-Shahroudi quoted Imam Khomeini (RA) as saying that “we must export the Islamic Revolution throughout the world, and this refers to the culture of the revolution.” He also said that the reason for Iran’s victory over the enemies during the Imposed War (Iran-Iraq War) was due to Islamic culture and not because of military victory by the use of arms.
