The seminarians say that the security forces are responsible for protecting all citizens against assault and insecurity.
They’ve also added: “The Bahraini people are a faithful and knowledgeable people and will not let their country be destroyed by terrorism and subversive attacks.”
The seminarians condemned Monday’s blast, as did al-Wefaq. They say that measures which challenge the country’s security and stability are not constructive. al-Wefaq called on followers to ensure that protest activities were peaceful.
A remote-controlled bomb exploded in the al-Dayh area yesterday and killed three policemen, including one member of the United Arab Emirates’ occupying officers police forces who was serving in a a Gulf Cooperation Council force. An anonymous group claimed responsibility after the blast to the headquarters of the al-Wefaq party.
