Rasa News Agency Reports- Sayed Mohammad Sayyidi, the Friday prayers leader of Qom, in his first sermon during Friday prayers this week along with encouraging people towards piety said: “One of the signs of piety which must be given attention to is freedom from desire and passions”.
Giving his sermon in the Holy Shrine of Lady Massomah (p) in the Imam Khomeini Hall he added: “Someone who has piety would feel freedom of society, because piety does not cause limitation to oneself instead it protect human beings from sins.”
The Friday lecturer affirmed: “Piety is the key to opening closed doors, and the best form of piety is doing what is compulsory and staying away from prohibited acts. To dominate over your passions is another way of reaching piety.”
In his second sermon during Friday prayers he mentioned events that are coming up in the week ahead and congratulated the Muslim for the birthday of Imam Muhammad Baqir (p.b.u.h) which is on the 3rd of Safar and sent his condolences to the Muslims for the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (p.b.u.h).
Hojjatal Islam Wal Muslimin Sayyidi, passed on good wishes for the week of research, the day of imports and exports and the martyrdom anniversary of Ayatollah Mofatah and added: “This great martyr tried a lot for the unity between university and Islamic seminary and during the struggle of the revolution (of Iran) he was alongside the late Imam (may god bless his soul).”
He added: “Ayatollah Mofatah was very useful in the combination of university and Islamic seminary and thus for this reason the deviant group Al-Furqan during that time martyred this great personality on 18 December. That time university and Islamic seminary had a great influence on society and the combination of both of them for the revolution was very important for this reason the enemies could not tolerate the combination of universities and Islamic seminaries and thus martyred that divine scholar.”
The leader of the Friday prayer in other parts of his sermon talked about the guests of the International conference of Muslim university professors and Islamic awakening meeting the Leader of the revolution Ayatollah Khamenei and expressed: “The Leader of the revolution in this meeting said one of the goals of the Islamic Awakening is making a regime, for this reason some historical experiences in north Africa failed because they did not create a regime, if in the countries that have done revolution, do not create a regime and a strong foundation does not come into existence, they will be in danger.”
He emphasized: “This Islamic awakening is deep and wide and for this reason the enemy is afraid of this awakening and is propagating against religion and Islam in the Middle East and the world. For not only do they not benefit anything from this awakening but also they are becoming affected from it.”
Sayed Sayyidi which is a teacher in the Islamic seminary expressed: “The enemy is trying to not use the phase Islamic awakening for the awakening which is occurring in the area because the enemies are afraid of the implementation of the real Islam. For the Islam that is after dollars and drowned in seeking nobility is not something for the enemies to be concerned about. “
He said: “The enemies would never feel a threat and danger from the American Islam for such an Islam is not against the interest of the west and America, this thought of Islam is against the thought of the true Islam of Muhammad (p.b.u.h).
Hojjatal Islam Wal Muslimin Sayyidi said: “This is why those who follow the Islam of America in Syria and Bahrain are brutally murdering and causing the Muslims to bleed and fall to dust.”
He added: “fortunately due to true Muslims in the beam of work of guardianship, the bell of the destruction of the west and arrogant powers in the world can be heard and this is the promise of Allah
(s.w.t) which certainly would be shown.”
