Rasa News Agency- His Eminence Ayatollah Saafi Gulpayegani in his letter for the occasion of the fiftieth opening anniversary of the Islamic Centre of Hamburg said: “A centre like the Islamic Centre of Hamburg has a big responsibility on its shoulder and must express the Islamic and 1.5 billion Muslims outrage towards this misleading sect Wahabism to the western world. “
According to Rasa News Agency the text of the letter of his Eminence is as follows:
In the name of Allah, The most Merciful, The Most compassionate
Say: "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah,” (Holy Quran, Chapter 7, Verse 158)
The divine prophet hood of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was a prophet hood towards all of mankind and the world, influential on all time and places.
The voice of Islam and the smooth sound of Quranic Tawheed reached the world in the first century and spread till now that there is not a city or area that the Islamic call for prayer has not reached there and there is not a day that the expansion of Islam and conversion to this divine religion does not increase.
In every country and more precisely in Germany the amount of mosques and centers that propagate this heavenly call is increasing, the people innate acceptance of this call is remarkable.
The spirit of the German nation is a spirit of admission to truth and if the benefits of Tawheed and humanitarian and the high moral principle of Islam were presented to them it would be accepted by all of them, especially the university students.
Dignity of human being, Equality of Human being, Islamic Tawheed and Islamic Justice are topics that mankind innate and conscious accept. Goethe the great German poet describes Islam as: “If Islam is this school, every human being, obliged by the innate, is a Muslim.”
The great Islamic scholar and our teacher his eminence Ayatollah Borujerdi (may god elevate his status) base on this would say: “We must take Islam to the west meaning if we introduce the real Islam to the world majority of the people naturally would accept it.”
Now, nearly 50 years the Islamic Centre of Hamburg is shining and its mosque was created by that great scholar in Germany and the pure and Islamic self-building programs are being propagated through there and thanks to Allah there has been many successes for this centre in this time of period it has been existing.
This centre is one of the great centres which propagates an Islamic invitation of Tawheed, brotherhood, equality, warmth and love, peace and mercy and Justice and teaches the school of thought of Ahlul Bayt (p.b.u.t) to those who are eager in learning it.
Unfortunately in a situation where a ignorant and unwise group, show this religion of peace as backwards and by their behavior and criminal acts of suicide bombings introduce this religion as a violent religion. Centers the likes of the Islamic Centre of Hamburg have a great responsibility and must show the outrage of Islam and its one and half billion Muslims from this misguided sect to the western world.
In these circumstances, the role of this centre and other centers like this one is very positive. One of the names given to the prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) is “mercy to mankind” meaning the prophet is a mercy, love and kindness for the entire world and humanity.
I congratulate the 50th opening ceremony of this illuminating centre and to all the Muslims in Germany and the respected officials of this centre I pay my dear respect and for every human being from any country or nation; I ask Allah to bless us good fortune, prosperity, peace, understanding and reconciliation.
