Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani

Rasa News Agency Reports – “In His Divine Book, the Noble Quran, God has divided His servants into two groups. The first group is made up of the have faith and who accept Islam. The second group is made up of those who do not accept God. These people believe that no divine being created all that is in the heavens and on the earth but came into existence by themselves,” explained Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani in a speech to the soldiers of the police headquarters of the province of Qom.

He further explained that the world has order and this order is a sign [of the existence of a divine creator]. “Some people accept existence of God and say ‘there is no god but Allah’ and testify to the mission of the Holy Prophet [Muhammad (S)] but do not follow what the Prophet of God wants from us,” he says.

“Some people seek [spiritual] completion and ask themselves ‘what are our duties?’ God praises these people,” Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani added.

He also said that: “Some people do not follow the religious orders. These people call themselves Muslims but they actually do not care about praying, fasting, performing their obligatory religious duties.”

“God gave good tidings to those who are complete. Those who are [spiritually] complete are those who try to perform the necessary religious acts in order to improve themselves everyday. In reality, God has guided these people and they are people of reason.” Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani explained.
