RNA – Ayatollah Sayyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri said: “If one wishes to promote his or her religion they cannot do it merely by giving speeches or quoting some narrations or hadith, but they must set an example by their actions for the other people to follow.” Head of Seminary schools, Ayatollah Bushehri said.
The director of the Islamic Seminaries mentioned a hadith by Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq on the importance of strategic planning for one’s life and how to improve it, he then pointed to a story in which a person asked Imam al-Sadiq a question on how to plan one’s life, Imam al-Sadiq responded, “Life has some vital elements, out of which the most important ones are taking responsibility and having good consciousness.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri further added, “If one accepts a responsibility in life he or she must try their best to accomplish that task, they should not expect others to help them.”
He then referred to Imam al-Sadiq’s hadith saying: “If one considers serving Imam al-Mahdi’s soldiers a noteworthy task and does so by performing ablutions and a pure intention prior to taking actions, then there’s no doubt his or her action is an act of God’s worship and prayers.”
He then added, “Consciousness means honest service to our community and Islamic seminaries, one must work in a way that they could solve a problem in the society.”
The representative of Bushehr in the Assembly of Experts further said, “The purpose of those serving Islamic seminaries must be to improve the Islamic cause and they must work hard to solve our clients’ problems in any way they could.”
The director of the Islamic Seminaries further mentioned another important element of life’s strategies and that is, we must always remember the fact that God is watching over us and he’s observing all our actions, “If one keeps in mind that he’s being watched by God he or she would always pay attention to their behaviour in life, they would always be careful about their actions so the evil deeds could not affect their face in public.”
Qom’s Friday prayer Imam added, “One who believes deep down that God is watching his or her actions would always abide by God’s rules, any actions that is performed for the sake of God would definitely return much blessings.”
He then stressed on the main role of Islamic seminaries to train people, those who are working in Islamic seminaries can teach others by their examples, “If one wishes to promote his or her religion they cannot do it merely by giving speeches or quoting some narrations or hadith, but they must set an example by their actions for the other people to follow.”
