RNA – In a meeting with a group of army commanders and staff from Qom province, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Saidi referred to the anti-Iranian statements made by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the organization’s 13th summit in the Turkish city of Istanbul, saying the enemies have never had the courage to openly oppose Iran’s Islamic Revolution and never will.
In a draft declaration at the OIC summit, the OIC has accused Iran of supporting terrorism and interfering in the internal affairs of regional states, including Syria and Yemen, and criticized Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement.
The trustee of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah said that in similar conferences, certain countries have acted as the puppets of foreign powers and as result, the OIC has issued an openly anti-Iran and anti-Islamic statement against another Islamic country.
“Rather than truly fighting real terrorism, they are the hidden hands of the West in the crises of the Islamic world in order to protect the support of the superpowers [for their regimes],” he emphasized.
He explained that thanks to the blessings of Iran’s support of the oppressed around the world, the Zionist regime and its allies have become alarmed and this has caused them to react in a harsh and foolish manner at the OIC summit.
His Eminence said that the attempts by cowardly countries and the allies of Zionist regime to insert statements against Iran and the Islamic Resistance in the draft declaration of the OIC summit has no importance to Iran and added that the Iranian nation will never abandon its beliefs and such measures will only strengthen Iran’s morale, will and self-reliance on its own capabilities.
“The leaders of these countries should know that such a statement is like a candle and they cannot extinguish the blazing sun of pure Muhammadan Islam and the rich culture of the Ahlul-Bayt in both the Islamic world and at global level by publishing such a statement,” he stressed.
