RNA – In a meeting with Dr. Sayyed Mortaza Saqaeiannejad, the mayor of the holy city of Qom, and Sayyed Mahdi Sadeqi, the governor of Qom province, Grand Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi-Amoli said that the Islamic Iran of Iran is located in a minefield because with their various plots, the enemies have placed many actions to destroy Iran’s achievements on its agenda.
He stressed that the existence of major differences in opinion in regard to the fundamental issues of the country are not acceptable, noting that the rising divorce rate and various anomalies are indicative of the selfishness of the people. “This selfishness and pride is the worst enemy of Islamic society,” he said.
Ayatollah Javadi-Amoli pointed out that the people of the Islamic community are responsible for different tasks in certain roles, adding that “senseless” Persian Gulf shaykhs have laid the foundation of the American military bases in the region which has led to growth of Takfiri groups, such as ISIL, which has caused various threats against the Islamic world.
His Eminence said that a nation without material wealth is poor and the backbone of the poor has been broken, adding: “Currently, this wealth is collecting interest in the banks when many areas throughout the country are in need of this wealth.”
