RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Asadollah Imani referred to the naming of the new Iranian year, 1395, a “The Resistance Economy: Action and Implementation” by Ayatollah Khamenei, saying it is necessary to evaluate the performance of officials and the system in regard to the implementation of the policies of the ‘resistance economy.’
He stated that there is a lot of capital in Iran but that we have not been able to guide this capital or create investment security for domestic investors and also, we have not been able to define for investors what industries and manufacturers are in accordance with the needs of the country.
Ayatollah Imani added that such officials agree with the resistance economy and the idea of it in principle but in practice, they do not observe it and if they did, we would have witnessed its effects in the last few years.
The Friday prayer leader of Shiraz said that if the government accepted the issue of the resistance economy, they must demonstrate its implementation. The government should determine in which direction to move.
Ayatollah Imani said that the newly elected lawmakers have heavy duties on their shoulders and most of them will look inward and strengthen the resistance economy.
“Honesty, simple life, not bowing to the enemies and not giving into the enemies’ smiles are some of the points that he insisted on,” he added.
