RNA – Speaking to Hawzah News Agency, Shaykh Ibrahim Abdullah Ahmad, a Nigerian seminarian, emphasized that the public opinion in Islamic countries in regard to Iran and the Iranian culture of martyrdom is an outlook which is completely religious and heartfelt, saying: “I tell young Iranians that the view of people outside Iran in regard to their culture of martyrdom and Husayni, which Imam Khomeini embarked on and the Islamic Republic of Iran implemented, is a completely religious and heartfelt outlook and they have certainty of belief in this.”

The Nigerian seminarian referred to the “great” historical founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and his struggle against the 2,500 year old imperial monarchy, saying: “In recent years, nobody would have thought that an old man could overthrow such a great empire and a tyrannical and oppressive king with empty hands! But by relying on God and continuing the path of Imam Husayn, Imam Khomeini showed the world that the world that he could stand against the most powerful enemies of the world with empty hands and be victorious.”

He added that today, the enemies are trying to separate us from Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) and the culture of martyrdom in order to undermine and prevent the influence of the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Revolution throughout the world.

“The Islamic Movement of Nigeria has expanded so much that the Saudi government has itself announced that in less than 20 years, more than 25 million Nigerians have become Shi’a due to the efforts of Shaykh al-Zakzaky,” he stressed.
