The Iranian cleric said that the present progress and revival of pure Muhammadan Islam has led to the awakening of Muslims and has increased the morale of the Islamic ummah’s stance against the non-believers, adding this is indebted to the revolutionary thought of Imam Khomeini and the uprising of the Islamic Seminary.
He added that the dynamism and progress of the Seminary is dependent on the dynamics and progress of the Islamic Revolution and the dynamics of the Revolution are dependent on the progress of the Seminary.
Ayatollah Heydari said that a lack of revolutionary thought in the Seminary will lead to a decline, loss of power and retreat in the face of the imperial powers of the world, adding that if the imperialists do not perceive any resistance to their actions, the foundation of Islam will be destroyed.
The Friday prayer leader of Ahvaz explained that if the foundation of Islam is at stake, the Seminary will not remain as the life of the Seminary and the progress and life of Islam is dependent on revolutionary thought.
He added: “Without revolutionary thought, there will be nothing which is capable of continuity and progress. Due to this, the Supreme Leader explicitly stated that the Seminary must remain revolutionary.”
His Eminence said obstacles to revolutionary thought and movements which challenge revolutionary thought should be acknowledged and we must be aware of them and the dangers they pose. “For example the ‘Mi6 Shi’as’ based in the UK, the Hojjatieh Society and other similar movements are opposed to revolutionary thought,” he said.
Ayatollah Heydari pointed out that the nature of the anti-religious and anti-Islamic government movements are opposed to the Revolutionary thought and should be clear and any abuse that the enemies of Islam have done against these movements should also be unveiled.
