RNA – Ayatollah Mohsen Mojtahed-Shabestari referred to the power, authority and security of Iran’s Islamic system of government in the region, adding that the country’s missiles aim at protecting security and stability of the country.
The Supreme Leader’s representative in East Azerbaijan province stated that Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons and stressed that Iran’s missile range brings security to the country and its missile capability aims at defending and preserving the country’s territorial integrity.
His Eminence emphasized on building defence capabilities and a deterrent military power which is unrivaled in the world and reiterated that Iran’s missile tests are not in violation and do not go against any resolution or agreement, stressing that this was confirmed at a recent meeting of the United Nations Security Council.
Ayatollah Mojtahed-Shabestari said that Iran’s military drills demonstrate the authority of the system of guardianship and its ballistic missile tests are response to American and Israeli threats against the Islamic Republic.
The Iranian cleric said that if the US and Israel continue their military threats, Iran’s response will be tough and powerful and added that due to the grace of God, the Zionist regime is deteriorating and according to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, “the Zionist regime will not exist in 25 years’ time.”
