RNA – Speaking during his jurisprudence course at Qom’s Grand Mosque, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani stated that Iran’s Islamic military might is due to the blessings of the people’s support and added that there is no weapon as effective as martyrdom and “no matter how strong the enemies’ bombs and military equipment are, they do not have the ability to defeat us.”
The revered source of emulation explained that we have that a culture of jihad and martyrdom and through this culture, we cannot be defeated. “The third intifada of the Palestinians is based on the same spirit against and the Zionists have been helpless and desperate against this uprising,” he stated.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stressed that unity and solidarity around the axis of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) is an important principle of Islam. “Our position is Wilayat al-Faqih and we must give attention to indicators such as the stance against imperialism and Zionism, which have been emphasized by Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei,” he said.
His Eminence condemned the (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council’s branding of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance group Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, saying that these countries have been supporting, equipping and training Takfiri terrorists themselves, “but Hezbollah, which has been standing up to the Zionist regime has been introduced as a terrorist organization!”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated that all of these countries have a hatred of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in their hearts, explaining: “They have been slapped by our Revolution and their foundations are weak. For this reason, these governments have relied more on the United States and the West in the past few days.”
