RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah, Ayatollah Ali-Reza Arafi pointed out that “Hezbollah is a resistance group which is a bulwark against the enemies of Islam and the Zionist entity and by considering it as among the terrorist organizations, they should know that they are few small states and due to their failure in regional events, they cannot stand against the glory of the Palestinian resistance and Hezbollah."
On Wednesday, the six-nation [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council officially added Hezbollah and all groups affiliated to its so-caleld list of “terrorist” organizations.
Ayatollah Arafi said these governments have introduced Hezbollah as a terrorist organization because this resistance group has casted fear in the foundations of power in Israel.
He said: “These governments are in the hands of the Zionists and seek to create sedition in the region. These governments must realize that they are the support bases of terrorism."
"The Iranian nation has announced that this move by several insignificant states who named Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, as well as the Egyptian governments’ efforts to improve relations with the Zionist entity, are deplorable will not succeed,” he added.
In other remarks, the member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom referred to the “epic” February 26th Parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections, calling them “a new chapter in religious democracy” in Iran and added: “These elections represented Iran’s superior democracy which is based on Islam and religious values. With the guidance of its leadership, the Iranian nation passed an important test with honour.”
The head of al-Mustafa International University stated that the glorious message of Iran’s elections to the world is that Iran is resistant and steadfast against its enemies and its people participate in the affairs of their nation.
