RNA – Addressing a large and fervent congregation of the people in Qom’s Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah, Ayatollah Sayyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the last weeks’ 22 Bahman (11 February) rallies, which marked the 37th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, saying that like in past years, Iranians created another “epic” this year.
The representative of Bushehr in the Assembly of Experts cited the various groups that participated in the 11 February rallies, saying that 11 February is a symbol of Iran’s national, religious and Islamic identity and for this reason, various groups attended the rallies and shouted slogans against the imperialists.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the enemies’ campaign to encourage the Iranian people not to participate in the 11 February rallies, saying said the Iranian people are supporters of the friends of the Revolution but the nation’s officials must not forget the challenges the people face in their lives.
The director of the Islamic Seminary stressed that the Iran’s enemies seek to discourage the Iranian peoples’ extensive participation in the February 26th parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections and have begun a substantial propaganda against the elections.
“The people must pay attention to the enemies plans and participate passionately in order to give a strong response to the enemies of Islam,” he emphasized.
He called on candidates and their supporters to respect the legal boundaries in their elections campaigns and do not destroy each other, adding that this is the method of Western politicians and will only lead to adverse results.
Also in his remarks, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri stated that with their recent victories and the liberation of several cities, the Syrian Arab Army has broken the backs of the Takfiri terrorists throughout the Arab country and for this reason, the United States and their regional agents have become frightened and talk of military action in Syria. “Ultimately, the supporters of the Revolution will attain victory by relying on Islamic ideals.”
