RNA – Grand Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani stressed on the leading role of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) stressing: “Abiding by the commands of the Supreme Leader is a must upon all Muslims.”
The revered source of emulation underscored that the guardianship of God Almighty extended to Imam Ali from the Prophet Muhammad and if we want to abide by the commands of God, then it is incumbent upon us to follow the instructions of the Supreme Leader.
Making the remarks in a meeting with some Pakistani and Indian students of the Islamic Seminary of Qom, the teacher in the seminary added that following the orders of Supreme Leader is tantamount to obeying the infallible imams.
“The guidance of humankind is a critical issue and of prime importance, given that God Almighty sent prophets for this reason,” he said, adding: “We should always follow the orders of God so as to be in the right track and to inform others of such principles.”
Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani highlighted what the Quran stresses in this regard saying, “Based on the Holy Quran, happiness and pleasure can be achieved through a righteous and truthful life.”
His Eminence urged Muslims to follow the path of the infallible imams and follow the guardianship of religious leaders so as not to deviate from the right path and take steps on this deviant way.
