RNA – “The Islamic Revolution of Iran was the tantamount to a revolution of freedom and liberty,” said Shaykh Abdul-Hayy Akhound Mirza-Ali, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Aq-Qala, in the northeastern province of Golestan, stressed the revolution awakened the people to the true Islamic values.
Referring to the upcoming anniversary of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, the Iranian cleric said the late leader of Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, established a new political system based on Islamic values and humane principles.
The cleric further stressed, “The Iranian Islamic Revolution was indeed a revolution in various arenas providing Muslims with the way to gain momentum in different realms.”
“The revolution has become a powerful tree that is nurtured with the blood of martyrs,” the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Aq-Qala stated, hailing the elevated role of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
“It is our responsibility to remember the martyrs of Islamic Revolution,” he said while urging Muslims not to turn a blind eye to those who sacrificed everything they had for this revolution.
“The Islamic Revolution was a great event in the history. In fact, it was the revolution of freedom and liberty and it has informed people about human values,” reiterated Shaykh Mirza-Ali.
He stressed: “It is incumbent upon us to respect this revolution and protect it against the actions of the enemies and the arrogant powers of the world.”
“The defense of Islamic revolution of Iran is only possible with unity among Iranians,” the Sunni cleric concluded.
