Rasa - Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization of Iran Saeed Ohadi said Iranian pilgrims traveling to Iraq will be able to make pilgrimage of the holy shrine in Samarra.
Samarra

RNA - Emphasizing on the National Security Council's agreement on adding Samarra to pilgrimage package, Ohadi expressed hope that travel to Iraq would include trips to Samarra, too.

Due to lack of security, Iranian pilgrims' travels to Samarra have been cancelled since 2012.

On Iranians' pilgrimage to Syria, Ohadi said that a Syrian delegation, headed by Deputy Tourism Minister, will arrive in Tehran on Sunday night to consult on security documents and to sign a memorandum of understanding.

He also said going on a pilgrimage to Syria can be possible if security concerns are removed.
