RNA – Speaking to Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Mohsen Faqihi, a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, said that the points that Ayatollah Khamenei brought up in his letter are issues that the youth of the West have witnessed themselves and those that they have fully understood. The letter is written in such a way that it does not cite Quranic verses and narrations alone but through this letter, the Leader calls on the youth to be aware of the issues surrounding them.
The Iranian scholar said that one of the important issues mentioned is the double-standards and hypocritical approach to the fight against Takfiri terrorist groups by Western governments, adding that Western youth have seen that their countries have created and supported such terrorist groups. “The United States and its allies in the Arab world seek to maintain ISIL,” he said.
Ayatollah Faqihi said Western governments were not honest and not looking for reality, adding: “In his second letter, the Supreme Leader made the youth conscious of the hypocrisy of the West’s approach to terrorism and it will have a significant impact.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom referred to the role of diplomacy and cultural and international organizations in regard to the Leader’s letter, saying that fortunately, the words of Iran’s Supreme Leader have had an influence on the world and many websites and news agencies have spread the message of the Supreme Leader and Western youth have welcomed the letter.
Ayatollah Faqihi said that we have a duty to explain Ayatollah Khamenei’s thoughts and messages, stressing that such explanations will lead to increased spiritual thought among the youth of the world and will lay the groundwork for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi.
