RNA – "Iran’s parliament, the Islamic Consultative Assembly, is an extension of the Islamic Revolution. Islam is an inseparable mixture of the Quran and Ahlul-Bayt and if someone is a worthy and righteous representative he must live by Quranic standards," Hujjat al-Islam Abdolkarim Abedini, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Qazvin province told Rasa News.

His Eminence explained that Zionist thinking does not include only Jews, adding that it is possible for people from different religions to accept the Zionist ideology. “In regard to spiritual issues, the Holy Quran says that when the believers state the name of God, they are filled with enthusiasm and love of God,” he said.

He said that someone who wants to be worthy of the Islamic Republic of Iran should be someone who is reliable, trustworthy and who only trusts in God and added that another important component is resistance against the enemy and insistence on the values of the country’s Basij militia and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their country.

Hujjat al-Islam Abedini said that the possibility of subversive individuals taking over the next parliament is a serious issue, saying that such individuals are preparing themselves for the elections and their think tanks are highly active and are willing to bring any form of deception and sedition to the election. They are trying to introduce themselves to the people with false faces but this is not who they really are.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative in Qazvin province said that fact that the seditionists are striving very hard and is obvious. It is natural that religious people are concerned over this issue and this concern is serious. We must pray and take refuge in God Almighty and in the enlightened and wise commands of the Supreme Leader, which are a divine favour for all believers.

He said that revolutionary individuals should heed the call of self-sacrifice and must not create an atmosphere which leads to loss of revolutionary might as this could lead to seditious groups using these opportunities to create conflict.

Hujjat al-Islam Abedini added that the task of revolutionary forces is to take steps for the sake of God and think tanks must plan so that all their work is based on divine satisfaction. Without divine satisfaction, the movement of the believers will become just like every other movement.

He concluded saying that in the current era, there are some groups who support the ideals of the United States and the West in Iranian society but were previously earnest, revolutionary people. Here, it becomes clear that there is a problem and it is the lack of consideration for divine satisfaction and dishonesty.
