RNA – Speaking at Qom’s Imam Khomeini Cultural Complex, Brigadier-General Hoseyn Salami said that the Iranian nation’s dignity and authority is due to its martyrs.
The deputy commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards of the Islamic Revolution said that Muslims must realize that they must not be rely on the Jews and Christians who seek to fight with them and we must defeat them or we will have to abandon our religion and because we refuse to give up our religion, we must fight them until the end.
Referring to the conspiracies of the enemies against Iran after the Islamic Revolution, he said that during the eight-year [Iran-Iraq] war that was imposed on us, the enemies did not spare the Iranian nation from any cultural attacks or sanctions and employed all sorts of schemes, including political isolation and psychological operations, against the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation, in order to bring it to its knees, but we resisted every plot launchd against us.
Brigadier-General Salami said that today, the culture of the Islamic Revolution has spread all over the world and added that the enemies could not prevent the defeat of the Zionist regime in four wars against Hezbollah, the Palestinian resistance and Syria and suffered humiliating defeats.
He said that the United States has tried to change the identity of Muslims but Islam is growing throughout the world. He added that until the last few years, we had never heard of the Yemeni resistance group, Ansarullah, and no one thought that a group of lovers of Imam Ali could disrupt the American equation in Yemen and defend Islam against the West.
The deputy-commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards said that the Islamic Revolution has become connected to the eastern Mediterranean through the Bab el-Mandeb strait and added that Iran’s victory in that strategic region shows the Americans have failed to chart a new Middle East and their role has weakened in the region.
Brigadier-General Salami said the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to be an active and decisive political and military equalizer in the region and added that all advantages are in Iran’s hands. “Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran has put an end to the destructive policies of the West and its regional partners,” he said.
In another part of his speech, he referred to the recent incidents of terrorism in Paris, saying the Europeans have been supporting Takfiri terrorist groups and they should have realized that one day, one of these groups will target them and end their security. He added that the Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei) has repeatedly reminded the West that they must not support terrorist groups.
In conclusion, Brigadier-General Salami said that the enemy is constantly looking to influence the Islamic Republic, explaining: “Today we are powerful not just because of our missiles or defense capabilities or powerful ships, but they are due to the development of the capacities of the Islamic Revolution, which has spread all over the world.”
