RNA – Speaking with members of the policy council of the county of Sabzevar, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani referred to the many revolutions that occurred in Iran during the 20th century, adding that the main advantage of the 1979 Islamic Revolution was that Iranians could recognize the enemy and were able to stand against the arrogant powers which astonished the arrogant powers and strongly influenced the entire world.
The revered source of emulation also referred to last Friday’s Islamic terrorist attacks in France, said the European nations have not reacted to the ongoing Saudi war on Yemen, which has killed over 7,500 people, but through the events in Paris, they have reacted in a far-reaching manner and this shows that they are trying to promote Islamophobia.
He explained that certain Western governments and groups have promoted Islamophobia in such a way that a small group of French youth burned a copy of the Holy Quran during a demonstration in Paris against the recent deadly terrorist attacks in the city and some Europeans have even called for Muslims to leave Europe.
In regard to the Islamic Revolution, the teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom said that the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini strengthened the foundations of the Islamic Revolution like a mountain and added that, God-willing, this revolution will led to the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi who will spread Islam around the world.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani added that the Islamic Awakening was one of the blessings of Iran’s Islamic Revolution and the enemy have tried to silence this awakening and are afraid that this revolution has expanded and for this reason, the arrogant powers have tried with all their efforts to put out the blazing flame of the Islamic Awakening.
His Eminence stated that Ayatollah Khomeini’s last will provides information about his experiences so that the people can understand how this revolution arose and how it should be protected. He added that the late Imam was a jurist, philosopher, mystic and warrior and along with the Iranian people, he revolted against the United States.
He added that during the Iran-Iraq War, 35 governments fought against Iran but Ayatollah Khomeini was able to protect the Islamic Revolution with the assistance of the Iranian people.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani explained that besides Imam al-Mahdi, no other individual would be able to protect the Islamic Revolution. If the Islamic Revolution did not have belief and faith, it would not have endured because the three pillars of this revolution were Islam, the people and Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent).
