RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Iraqi city of Karbala, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Ahmad al-Safi stressed that all possibilities for the progress and victory of Iraqi forces on the battlefield against ISIL Takfiri terrorists must be provided.

“These needs must be given priority over other needs which can be provided when the economic situation improves and the current difficult crises pass,” he said.

Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani’s representative said that the most important lesson that officials should gain from their recent successes is the importance of coordination between the various military units as this played a most valuable role in the defeat of the enemy.

Hujjat al-Islam al-Safi said that military commanders need to do more to coordinate with other units, but they must be cautious and not neglect the movements of the enemy on several fronts because terrorists can find the smallest outlet to penetrate and will use these opportunities well.

“Anywhere that they are defeated, they will try to ambush us elsewhere. So be sure that your military units are always vigilant and don’t provide the enemy with any sense of security. We also ask God to humiliate the terrorists and save our beloved country from this tribulation,” he said, addressing the commanders.

Hujjat al-Islam al-Safi said the most important tasks of the federal and local governments is to use the blessings of God in the service of the people and if the government does not fulfill its duties, it is possible that these blessings may turn into a disaster and calamity.
