RNA – Speaking to Rasa News Agency on the sidelines of the funeral of Martyr Haj Nader Hamid, an IRGC member recently martyred in Syria, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi said that this martyr was a voluntary defendant of the Holy Shrine of Lady Zaynab al-Kubra and travelled to Syria without any expectations to defend Islam, Muslims, Lady Zaynab and the Ahlul-Bayt against Takfiri terrorists and preferred them over his own welfare and worldly desires.
Martyr Nader Hamid was responsible for organizing the defense of the Holy Shrine of Lady Zaynab near Damascus and after enjoining his duty against the Zionists, he was injured near Quneitra on October 15 and spent several days in intensive care at a hospital in Damascus before returning to his Lord on October 18.
Paying tribute to this lofty martyr, Ayatollah Ka’bi said that as an advisor at the camp of Lady Zaynab, Martyr Nader Hamid was active in Syria and added that this great martyr was martyred in the fight against Takfiri terrorist groups and agents of the Zionist regime in the region of Quneitra.
The member of the Assembly of Experts said that thanks to the blood of the martyrs of Islam, the United States’ plans have failed in the Middle East and soon we will witness the destruction of Israel. It is the enemies’ fantasy to destroy the Islamic Resistance but the US’ project in the Middle East has been defeated and now we will witness the supremacy of the resistance and the destruction of ISIL and their masters.
Ayatollah Ka’bi said that Muslims abhor extremist and terrorist groups, adding that the fronts in Syria and Iraq are the Karbala’s of the present Islamic ummah and the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance are the heroes of the Islamic ummah.
His Eminence concluded by pointing out that the heroic sense of honour which comes from the message of Imam Husayn is present on the battlefield of self-sacrifice, dedication and loyalty in the way of God, adding the martyrs who have given their lives during last five years in Syria have dealt a humiliating blow to the United States and to the Zionist regime.
