Rasa - Former Indonasian MP praised Islamic Republic of Iran as the axis of Islamic unity in the world expressing his country’s readiness to help Iran in line with its proximity efforts.

RNA - In a meeting between Iran’s Hujjat-ul-Islam Zamani, international affairs deputy of the Parliament, Hujjat-ul-Islam Mesbahi Moghaddam, Member of Parliament and Indonesia’s Omar Shahab, former chairman of Scholars’ Parliament, Indonesian MP vowed to help Iran in line with its unifying efforts in a bid to expand the views of the world people on Shia.
 

According to Iran's Taghrib News Agency, Indonesian religious figure stressed importance of maintaining Islam in his country and reiterated that their policy is to maintain unity even with the Arab states which take anti-Islamic measures.
 
”In Indonesia, protection of Islam to the point that we never involve in a clash even with our opposite side is the main policy,” adding ”Those who take measures agaisn a certain religion, are not truly informed about what they are talking about,” he said.
 
Highlighting the role of Iran in maintaining solidarity among Muslims, Indonesian religiou elite vowed to take proximity steps in a bid to confront the present ignorance of the people on Shiite Muslims.
