RNA – In an exclusive with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi, Iran’s Deputy Judiciary Chief, referred to the clear warning to the rulers of Saudi Arabia from Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and said that during the Iraq-Iraq War, Saddam and the Ba’th Party positioned themselves against Iran and it’s fledgling Islamic Revolution and one of their serious supporters in the region was Saudi Arabia.
“After the ‘Imposed War,’ it has been seen that the House of Saud has been involved in most of the evil acts in the Middle East. Today, Saudi Arabia has been overtly attacking Yemen for the past six months,” he explained.
The representative of the people of South Khorasan province in the Assembly of Experts stated that the people of Yemen have no air force or navy and that the impoverished country’s ground forces are mainly volunteers who have stood up to confront the Saudi forces who have invaded their country.
Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi continued, saying that Saudi Arabia’s evil and immoral actions are contrary to religion and reason, but Saudi Arabia is a regime which does not accept proof or reason but only seeks to achieve its goals through the use of force. “The treatment of the Hajj pilgrims was very inappropriate behaviour that some call ‘imprudence,’ but their actions were higher than imprudence,” he said.
Iran’s Deputy Judiciary Chief said that the Muslim world is facing many unanswered questions about the stampede in Mina. “The Saudi’s behaviour after the incident in Mina is far from all international, religious and moral norms,” he explained.
He said that Saudi Arabia’s current direction in the region is an extension of the superpowers’ strategic system of domination and arrogance, saying: “If the axis of domination in the world is composed of the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel, they consider Saudi Arabia their strategic partner in the Middle East. The House of Saud plays a significant role for the imperialistic and dominating superpowers in region.”
Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been treated the House of Saud with patience and calmness, and said that today the House of Saud commits such evil and corrupt acts that we cannot have any more patience.
He noted that many that many times in his speeches, Ayatollah Khamenei has called on the House of Saud to maintain their dignity and independence and not to be the hand of the arrogant powers in the region. “Today, the Saudi-led war in Yemen is a proxy war for Israel and the US,” he stressed.
His Eminence explained that the Saudis and the Arab countries know that Iran emerged victorious from eight years of war and stood alone against the whole world and added: “During the Iran-Iraq War, not only the Ba’thists fought against Iran, but “many countries were involved providing money, weapons and information to Saddam.”
Iran’s Deputy Judiciary Chief added that the eight years of “Sacred Defense” were a manifestation of the power of the Iranian nation.
Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi added that despite all the support for Saddam in the war, the Islamic system emerged victorious and only hatred for the Ba’th Party and Saddam remains in the world. “This is also similar to the recent event in Mina, as due to this tragedy, a popular hatred for the House of Saud has appeared in the world,” he said.
