RNA – “The people and government should know that [our] animosity toward the arrogant powers is part of the Islamic worldview,” Hujjat al-Islam Mahmoud Rajabi told Rasa News.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, referred to the clear warning that Iran’s Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, recently gave to the Zionist regime – that this evil regime “will not exist in 25 years’ time.”
His Eminence added that those who accept Islam and the Islamic system of governance can never recognize the Zionist regime.
“Israel, due to its oppression and aggression against Muslims, has always been the enemy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic ummah, and we it will fight this regime,” he said.
The deputy at the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute stated that Israel must not feel relaxed at any point, saying: “Some have stated that relations must reach a point where we hold negotiations with Israel or Iran eases its stance against the Zionist regime. Some reformists had previously raised such issues, but this was rejected by the Supreme Leader.”
Hujjat al-Islam Rajabi stressed that the Zionist regime must realize that the Muslims’ struggle against them will not cease under any circumstances and the Supreme Leader has given this explicit warning. The Zionist regime must know that Muslim nations have woken up and will no longer tolerate this regime’s occupation of Palestine. “This false regime cannot remain in the world,” he added.
Referring to Ayatollah Khamenei’s criticism of those who consider Islamic Revolutionary forces as radicals and extremists, His Eminence said: “In their correct sense, rationality and moderation means to defend Islamic values.”
The Iranian scholar said that Islamic values exist in every school and if we accept Islam, we must adhere to Islamic values. The values of Islam are based on rationality and are fact based. For this reason, it is not possible for those who have accepted Islam to deviate from its values.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said moderation does not mean deviating from values nor do national interests conflict with the defense of values, but rationality and moderation demand that man defend all Islamic values and the Islamic system with all his ability. Values and the Islamic system must be resilient in the face of the enemies as this is the order of the Quran to Muslims.
Hujjat al-Islam Rajabi added that the defense of values comes from religious text and religious rationality demands that mankind defend the values which draw from path of prosperity.
