RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah GholamAli Naimabadi, a member of the Assembly of Experts, referred to the recent remarks made by Iran’s Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] wherein he stated that Israel “will not exist in 25 years’ time,” saying that this message has various roots and was an explicit message issued to the Zionist regime and the arrogant powers.
The Iranian cleric added that unfortunately, the adherents of truth do not recognize falsehood in an appropriate manner, and stressed that evil is fleeting and doesn’t last.
“In the Holy Quran, God Almighty compares wrong interpretation to froth and then says: ‘That is how God compares truth and falsehood’ [13:17].”
“This means that falsehood is like froth which disappears. For this reason, I refer to the United States and Israel as froth which will deteriorate, just as falsehood deteriorates,” he added.
The Friday prayers’ leader of Bandar Abbas explained that sooner or later not only Israel, but also the US government will also vanish, saying: “Today, Israel displays a distinctive face to the world and to the Islamic world, especially the people of the Middle East, so that the arrogant powers can protect this stinking corpse.”
Ayatollah Naimabadi said that in the not too distant future the time will come where the people of the region will collectively destroy Israel’s roots and foundation along with the collapse of several corrupt and oppressive rulers.
“Today, the Palestinian people are different than yesterday, but there are still many insincere individuals among the Palestinian resistance, however most people are sincere,” he said.
The representative of the Supreme Leader in Hormozgan province added that it will not be long until these insincere individuals are eliminated and explained that Israel is not a superpower except in the imaginations of some insignificant people who consider Israel as a superpower, and added: “For this reason, that which [Ayatollah Khamenei] said is rooted in history, the Quran and knowledge related to time.”
Referring to Ayatollah Khamenei’s criticism of those who consider Islamic revolutionary as extremists, he stressed that religion means moderation, and that negligence and extremism are considered as abominable characteristics in Islam and added that falling behind the Supreme Leader or going ahead of him is incorrect.
Ayatollah Naimabadi said that the actions of the extremists are not for the good of Islam, the Islamic Revolution and religion. Our Leader said that the threat from extremists is greater than those who are negligent. “It is not such that every revolutionary force is an extremist,” he said.
His Eminence added: “We have the most revolutionary people in our society who are on the path of the Supreme Leader which is the true path of moderation. This path is certainly a path of moderation. For this same reason, he condemns both the extremists and those who are negligent.”
