Rasa - Iran’s Health Ministry, in a statement on Saturday, declared its readiness to send a medical team to treat the wounded in a crane crash in the the Grand Mosque of the Saudi holy city of Mecca.
RNA - The health ministry expressed regret over the deadly crane collapse in the Grand Mosque of Mecca on Friday, which has killed at least 107 people, including one Iranain, and announced that it is prepared to receive the injured in the Iranian hospitals and provide treatment for the injured from other countries such as India, Pakistan and Indonesia in Iran.
Sum 238 were wounded in the incident, including 32 Iranian.
The incident happened after a towering construction crane toppled over amid strong winds and storm in the holy city of Mecca, crashing into the Grand Mosque ahead of the start of the annual Hajj pilgrimage later this month.
The Saudi Civil Defense authority confirmed on its official Twitter as of early Saturday.
