RNA – Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday prayers’ leader of Mashhad, told a group of pilgrims at the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha that all the arrogant Western powers’ plots are based on dominating and ruling the Middle East.
His Eminence pointed out that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action which Iran (JCPOA) is a tool for the arrogant powers of the world to gain influence over Iran and to overthrow the country’s leadership and Islamic system of government and to dominate the region in order to prevent the spread of Shi’a Islam.
The renowned Iranian scholar emphasized the importance of being vigilant and protecting the Islamic world and noted the growth of religious deviancy and the decadence of leadership in the region. He explained that rights are based on the peoples’ relationship with their leadership through parliamentary and presidential elections. Any other movement taken is our first criteria to judge whether a country’s leadership has decayed.
Ayatollah Alamolhoda reminded the pilgrims gathered that the Prophet Muhammad predicted that true Islam would be expelled from the Madinah, the first capital of the Islamic world and one day Madinah would become the base of the most ardent enemies of Islam. Today, we see that Wahhabism is based in this holy city where pure Islam was once based. In the current era, as it was during the past, a central capital is needed in the Islamic world.
“Holy Mashhad can take over the position that Madinah previously held as the capital of the Islamic world,” he said.
