Rasa - The Italian ambassador to Iraq, Marco Carnelos, visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali to meet with the trustee of the Holy Shrine.
RNA - After visiting the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, Ambassador Carnelos met with Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Nizar Hablul-Matin, the trustee of the Holy Shrine for dialogue.
During the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Hablul-Matin said the doors of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali are always open for all pilgrims and visitors from different world religions and countries.
Ambassador Carnelos expressed his thanks for the warm welcome by officials of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali and pointed out that he visited one of the purest, the holiest and most revered places in the world and it brought him great happiness and joy.
He also noted that his meeting with the revered source of emulation was very fruitful for the benefit of Iraq and the world.
