RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri stated that Ayatollah Haeri-Yazdi was not only the founder of the Seminary of Qom but he also established seminaries across the country which have had a great influence and provided many blessings to Shi’a Islam. “We must all strive to continue in this way,” Qom Friday prayers’ leader advised.
“We must remember all these personalities who were among the dignitaries and influential people in Islamic societies whom we must cherish,” he added.
The director of the Islamic Seminaries across the country also referred to Government Week which commemorates the martyrdom anniversaries of Mohammad-Ali Rajaei and Mohammad-Javad Bahonar and others killed in the early years of the Iranian Islamic Revolution by its enemies.
“These two personalities are models of the behaviour of the leaders of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic,” he said.
Hujjat al-Islam Bushehri stressed upon the importance of recognizing the enemy and being vigilant in order to prevent their influence, adding: “After the nuclear agreement, the P5+1 group of countries must not assume that the Iranian people’s government will leave its [Islamic] revolutionary path. The Supreme Leader [Ayatollah Khamenei] said that the Iranian government has an obligation to demonstrate the Islamic Revolution to the whole world.”
Echoing other remarks by Ayatollah Khamenei, Qom’s Friday prayers’ leader stressed the need to preserve the integrity of the people, and explained that the authorities must be effective in promoting the Islamic lifestyle and culture and preventing the manufacture of harmful products, as well as efforts to prevent the separation of social classes.
The Member of the Assembly of Experts also stated that government officials must not raise the expectations of people over the nuclear issue so that “the people do not think that everything has been resolved and have high expectations from the government. If the people think that after the agreement that everything can be completely solved, they must answer.”
Hujjat al-Islam Bushehri stressed that the nuclear issue should not be used as a tool in the February 2016 parliamentary elections.
