RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to the believers in Qom, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi said that after 12 years of breathtaking negotiations, Iran was able to successfully reach an agreement with the P5+1 group of countries, but stressed: “However, this does not mean that everything has been finalized and we must follow the legal route.”
The trustee of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah said the United States is after certain goals by agreeing to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), including limiting Iran’s defence capabilities, military influence and regional power.
Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi also explained that the enemies of Islam seek to sow discord between governments and nations in the form of religious differences, and explained that the creation of criminal Takfiri terrorist groups, such as ISIL, has been the most important tool for creating religious differences among Muslims in the Middle East.
“That which is happening in these countries is a political war, not a religious war, and the Zionists and the US are involved in it,” he said.
He reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on Quranic teachings and added that Iran has clearly announced that its relationship with their brothers in faith and allies is based on friendship.
He stressed that Iran will never compromise with the arrogant powers, but Iran believes that the JCPOA will strongly influence its enemies.
Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi expressed his satisfaction with the Iraqi Prime Minister Haydar al-Abadi’s administrative reform plan, which was implemented due to the advise of Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani.
He added now that the Iraqi parliament has ratified the plan, this plan to fight against corruption in the country has become a binding law and dozens of unnecessary military officials and politicians have been removed and a committee has been formed to follow up on the reform plan.
“We appreciate the efforts of the Shi’a authorities, who have no expectation other than to serve the religion of God and the people. Today we are witnessing their impact on Iraqi society,” he said.
