Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars:
Rasa - Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars referred to Iran’s recently-concluded negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries as presenting “logical solutions to solve the regions problems” and described the hasty diplomacy in Syria as a “failure.”

RNA – Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars has issued a statement in regard to the recent issues affecting the Middle East.

The group stated that the path of hasty diplomacy to solve the problems of the region, particularly in Syria and Yemen, has failed to overcome the growth of the Takfiri phenomenon, but Iran’s diplomacy with the P5+1 group of countries over the nuclear issue along with its assistance to the Islamic Resistance in Syria, Yemen and other Middle Eastern countries has presented logical solutions to solve the regions problems which will help the region emerge from its numerous crises.

The Association of Muslim Scholars’ noted that members of the Islamic Resistance must not resort to unreliable solutions to the regions problems because the continuation of war and an emphasis on past positions only leads to greater damages to the region’s political issues.

They added that the Islamic Resistance must increase their war efforts against the Zionist regime and respond to Israeli aggression. The issue of Palestine still remains in the minds of people who are waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promise of victory over enemies.

The Association of Muslim Scholars’ noted the importance of maintaining the stability and security in Lebanon and stressed that the Lebanese people must be careful about being drawn into internal sedition. Those who neglect this issue, they cannot consider themselves true Lebanese or Muslims.

At the end of their statement, they congratulated Abbas Ibrahim, the general-director of Lebanon’s General Security Directorate, on the arrest of Ahmad al-Assir, a extremist Salafi cleric, who is known as the “Shaykh of Sedition,” and called for the start of an investigation over this infamous Salafi cleric.
