RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom, Ayatollah Arafi referred to the ninth anniversary of Hezbollah’s victory over the Zionist regime in the 2006 Lebanon War, saying: “Nine years ago today, we witnessed victory of the Lebanese Hezbollah in the 33-day war and this war led to destruction of the Zionist regime’s prestige and dignity.”
The renowned cleric added that in response to the growth of the Islamic Resistance and Islamic Awakening, enemies created the deviant Takfiri ideology and the ISIL terrorist group and launched wars against Muslim nations. “Due to divine promise, these groups have not achieved any result and every day they become more detested by the people of the world,” he said.
The principal of al-Mustafa International University referred to the contradictory speculation and statements made by Western politicians over the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) saying these sorts of remarks are “completely useless” and added that the enemies and oppressors must forget their fantasy that Iran will bow down to their threats and illegitimate demands through force.
His Eminence emphasized that the enemies seek to destroy the Islamic Resistance and added that since the signing of the JCPOA certain powers have been striving to humiliate the Iranian nation, but they must realize that Iran will not surrender to their bullying and will resist them until the end.
Ayatollah Arafi added Iranians must prevent the enemies’ deceptive plots by supporting the Guardianship of the Jurisprudent and resisting their seditious aims.
He stressed that Iranians should utilize the many lessons of the 1953 coup d’état. The anniversary of which in Iranian history is this week. “The Islamic Republic of Iran should never surrender to the enemies and must always resist,” he said.
