Rasa – Mentioning that the high participation of the Iranian people in the election of June the 14th caused national sovereignty of Iranian government, Ayatollah Shabestari said: “Iranian election confused the west.”

Rasa News Agency Reports – In a meeting with the city’s scholars the representative of the supreme leader in the city of Eastern Azerbaijan, Ayatollah Mohsen Shabestari emphasized the important role of Jurists, scholars and the supreme leader in creating the political epic of June the 14th and indicated: “the western analysts believe that the [success of the] June 14th election was in result of the wise leadership of the supreme leader.”

He claimed that the connection between the scholarship and the people in different events of the country’s history has mainly been resulting in creating an enduring epic and said: “the role of the scholarship in revealing the truth about different political and social currents of the country is quite obvious to anyone. We must benefit from the country’s unity to create an economic epic too.”

“The people must be aware of the result of their historic epic and must know that when they are [active] in political fields, the enemy has withdrew from his tyrant stances.” He added.

Pointing out the different aspects of the enemy’s propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the people’s participation in the election the Friday preacher of the city of Tabriz he said: “The high participation of people in the election of June 14th caused national sovereignty of Iranian government. And the participation of millions of people has confused the west. Certainly, the president-elect and the newly-elected government will have the best opportunity to gain the rights of the Iranian nation in international communities.”
