RNA – Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi pointed to the enemies’ hostile plots aimed at deviating the youth throughout the Muslim world, saying: “The enemy seeks to destroy the pillars of Islam in the region and uses all their facilities and capabilities to damage to the merciful image of Islam.”
His Eminence made the remarks during a meeting with a group of students from the Islamic seminaries of Iraq at his office in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf.
The Indian-born source of emulation considered the guardians of Islam as those who follow the lifestyle and methods of the Prophet Muhammad (S) and by holding firm to the Ahlul-Bayt (A), adding that they have created firm conviction in the protection of Islam and Muslims among themselves.
Ayatollah al-Najafi also met with a group of Shi’ites from Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province later in the day.
