Rasa – The senior Lebanese cleric, Ayatollah al-Nablusi stressed that Arab states should not allow themselves to become caught up in internal conflicts or ignore the Palestinian cause.

RNA – Ayatollah Afif al-Nablusi, the director of the Imam al-Sadiq (A) Seminary in Sidon, Lebanon, in his meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Yusuf al-Nasiri, the Secretary-General of the Council of Iraqi Scholars and Hujjat al-Islam Jawad al-Khalisi, an Iraqi scholar praised the sacrifices of the volunteers of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.

 

He emphasized that along with the Iraqi government security forces, they will eventually be successful in cleansing the country from the Takfiri terrorists who are destroying the lives and property of this war-torn and impoverished country.

 

He also added that Iraq has begun to recover due to their sacrifices as they have maintained the unity of the country despite the challenges it faces, adding that this shows that Iraq is stronger than other Arab countries.

 

Ayatollah al-Nablusi also referred to the Palestinian issue, and said: “In reality, any government that seeks animosity against Palestine, is fighting against the Arab world and is aiding the schemes and goals of the racist Zionist regime.”

 

The director of the Sidon’s Imam al-Sadiq (A) Seminary stressed that Arab states should not allow themselves to become caught up in internal conflicts or ignore the Palestinian cause, explaining that the Zionist regime wants to create intrigue and sedition as well as internal and external political conflicts in throughout the Arab and Muslim world so that it can implement its colonial plans in Palestine.

 

He added that one part of the Zionists’ plan to seize more Palestinian land is to build settlements throughout the West Bank.

 

Ayatollah al-Nablusi described Israel as the basis and source of all problems in the region and said that peace and security will prevail in the Muslim world when unity among Muslims is considered a religious duty and when Muslim countries stand against the Zionist regime.
