Rasa - Secretary-General of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening announced that the international body will hold a session in Iraq in the near future.

RNA - "The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening has different plans due to be implemented," Ali Akbar Velayati said on Saturday.

 

"We hope that the high council of the assembly would hold a meeting in Iraq in the near future," Velayati added.

 

He further announced that the upcoming session will decide on the future plans of the assembly.

 

The 6th meeting of High Council of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening was held in the Iranian capital of Tehran in March 2014.

 

The three-day meeting was attended by a large number of political and religious figures from several Muslim states including Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt and Tunisia.
